Well, ok, you *told* me it works.  But does it? :-) :-) :-)

Seriously, I've been programming for 30 years, and it was only after I
opened my big mouth and said it should be an easy perl script did I
realize that although I've written probably hundreds or thousands of
such lame little beasties, I've hardly ever shown them to anybody;
usually they just disappear into the bit bucket 5 minutes later.  So
after 5 or ten minutes of making it work, I spent an hour adding
comments and documentation and testing it, so someone else could use
it.  Glad it was worth it :-)
