Actually, either gawk or perl can do it rather quickly.  The thing you need
to keep in mind is that you will need to edit that rc script anyway if I
understand you right.  I am assuming that the rc script will handle
placement of the new archives as they come in...

I am not sure that I can hack and awk script out as quickly as our brother
in Nevada claims, but it should be rather simple.  Once it is created, you
should keep it as an example for future changes to the archives.

If you could send a copy of the html lines you want added, then I can try to
hack something and we can see who can get a script working faster...

Felix is right in suggesting perl though, because it is faster than
awk/gawk, actually though you can even use ed.  It all depends on which
language you are familiar with and feel more comfortable with...

I guess I don't have to wait for you to send the code since it is at that
link, but it would be good to have a before and after of exactly what you
want.  And, of course, you need to answer the questions Felix asked.
