I had the same reaction to both.  ... unfortunately I had to stick with
Solaris x86 for a couple days, since I was making a CD of Solaris tools to
help people who just bought it and can't do anything with it :) .. ie, the
disk has the GNU tools and some other neat things like binutils and
compilers that solaris doesn't come with.
