wrong. That's only required for 10-base 2 ( the stuff with the
telephone connectors ). 10-base T works with coax cables - in
general RG-58 with BNC connectors. The setup is easy: Plug a
coax tee on each card connector. Daisy chain all that stuff with
BNC terminated coax cables ( make them or buy them ). At each
end of this daisy chain plug a termination resistor with 50 ohms
nominal ( to make one just solder a 51 ohm resistor with short
leads into a BNC connector. Crimp connectos are well suited for
that ). You can get all that stuff in computer shops where they
sell the cards.

Forget about 10-base 2. Apart from the necessity of one of
those bridging boxes to interconnect your computers the cabling
is simply inadequate from an rf engineering point of view. You
produce strong RFI and are susceptible to radio interference
from strong nearby transmitters, too.

Sorry...I am a seasoned rf engineer and I would nuke anybody
that came up with ideas like feeding signals in the megahertz
range into a pair of unshielded telephone wires. Such people
deserve to be roasted alive.
