As Frank already called a truce, I will stop writing on this thread
any more.  Before then, two statements:

My messages on this thread are not coming from my position as
a TLUG officer.  If you feel threat out of those, you are wrong.

I agree to, and follow by myself  many of present solutions discussed 
on this thread, such as ApplixWare, dual boot, and dual computers.  
I only reacted the word "purist".
