There is our pet project for EGG V4 named "Tamagotchy".  It's still
early alpha stage, but it supports multiple protocols (Wnn 4, SJ3 and
Canna), and multiple languages (Korean, Chinese, Japanese).

So far (untill Mule-2.3), MULE supports multiple protocols, but the
packages are separated.  That is, there were individual elisp packages
for Wnn, SJ3, and Canna.  EGG V4 is rewrite of EGG V3 and integrates
all protocols in one package.  The support of MS IME in Meadow is
expected, hopefully real soon now. :-)

Unfortunately, because of lack of technical information (without NDA),
it doesn't support Wnn 6 currently.
