Actually, yes. That's why I stuck the <META...> tag in
there, so that I'd see the Shi(f)t-JIS encoded stuff without
having to switch the encoding manually. But then, I'm
using Netscape on Win95 to view this - using the M$ OS,
I can get a call-back from my office, and thus Internet
access is much cheaper when I don't use Linux :-(

I can easily save the files in EUC (and probably UTF-8)
if that's any help. Does anybody know the proper
charset labels for these encodings? If not, I can probably
get them at the W3C server.
