So, I use pnptools which detect the audio device Yamaha and I write
down the isapnp.conf file.

Then I run "make xconfig" and I load as module the drivers
"Sond Blaster" and "MSS".

First problem: The MSS settings do not allow me two DMAs.
Second problem: The SB settings ask me two DMAs.

Which drivers should I enable, actually?

Anyway, I copile the kernel et cetera. Then I install the module
and I have a look at /dev/snstat file. Everything seems to be
installed and all the sections are filled with something.
But, when I send an audio file to the device there is I/O error
Do you know why?

thank you again
