YMMV.  Like anything else.  I'd rather tell people about the potential
problems with products and have them be pleasantly surprised than tell
them things will work and have them be unpleasantly surprised ...

Right.  Keep in mind that evaluating hardware under dev-series kernels may
be a tad more relevent to whether one wants to keep such hardware, as
dev-series kernels tend to become release-series kernels ...
