I bought a pack of DAT tapes ( 2GB native, 4mm DAT ,DDS, 10
pcs., new, top quality, made by Maxell in Japan ) about a year
ago for DM100 ( 7000 Yen about ) from a store in Hamburg by mail
order.

The 4GB ones are more expensive - aroung DM25 apiece ( about
1800 Yen ). I don't know about bigger ones.

I remember having seen that kind of stuff in the shops in
Osaka's Nippombashi for similar prices.
