Let's not use this machine.  Proprietary ram slots are a bitch.  Let's get
something more standard that takes standard hardware.

As for IDE disks, if you can wait for shipping, I can get 8.4GB Maxtor
Ultra-DMA EIDE drives for $332 (yeah, $332 for 8.4 gigabytes!).  I can get
smaller ones for less, of course.  Has to be shipped from the USA, of
course, but... I dare you to find a drive half that size for that price in
Japan.
