tlug: Re: TLUG & Netscape i18n

Hi Tague,

Although I've been a member of the Tokyo LUG for a couple of
years, I've never been able to attend a IRL meeting due to
distance problems (I live _way_ out in the country.) And
although I'd really like to go to the April meeting I probably
won't be able to make it.

I'm not the only TLUGer in the same boat. What I propose is we do
a pre-meeting interview (to be posted on the TLUG web page) with
you via email. TLUGers who can't make the meeting would then have
a way of asking you their questions, getting your feedback, and
sharing that information with the group.

If you like this idea, and the list members respond favorably,
then I'll ask the list members to send me their questions and
forward the questions on to you all at one time. Time frame maybe
mid-March?

I know I have a lot of non-programming questions like, "Did The
'Cathedral and the Bazaar' by Eric S. Raymond _really _
influence Netscape's decision to release the code?"

Regards,

Jim Schweizer
