Although it was mentioned, my boss has been able to set up Slackware Linux 
complete with Japanese Extensions on another B5 notebook... This one is the 
Fujitsu FM-V NC13 series...

If you can get it to work on the Sony, please let me know... I am thinking 
about buying that one next... :D

Hi TLUGers!

We are currently looking for a NotePC for my wife and she
seems to like these B5 size machines.  Unfortunately, I
wasn't very successful so far in getting any information
on which machines run Linux without problems (I searched the
Linux & laptop page and the Japanese `My walking Linux
page').

Does anybody of you have any information about the following
models?

  * Panasonic AL-N2 T516
  * Sony PCG505
  * NEC Aile NX13 CB

Especially, the last one is quite attractive, but does it
run our favorite OS??
