It says:

It was an attempt to see if the error could be related to the IP address
assigned to the interface. It wasn't, as the problem persists.

IP forwarding is enabled. I also tried enablig firewalling/ip_masquerading,
setting the policy:

	/sbin/ipfwadm -F -p deny
	/sbin/ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.1.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0 -W ppp0

On this policy, I got a hint from the IP masquerade mailing list that
removing -W ppp0 could work. It didn't.
