I had a similar problem. It seems that the NIC doesn't like sharing its IRQ
with others. 

Enter the BIOS setup and look for a menu like "PnP Config", "Advanced 
Settings", "PCI Setup" or something similar. There must be a setting for
each one of the PCI slots, that by default are set as "Auto". Change the
setting for the slot the SCSI adapter is in, assigning a free IRQ number.
