tlug: Getting XFree 3.3.1

  Hi,

  I just picked up a decent video card finally, the Matrox Mystique 220
(hey, not only is it Canadian-made, but there's a nice looking video
capture daughter card for it, too).

  Anyhow, there's no support for Matrox cards at all in the Slackware
3.1 vintage XFree on my machine (which dates from August '95).  I had
a look at what I need to download from a mirror to get a full up-to-date
3.1.1 package.  It's a lot.  

  I thought XFree 3.1.1 must be available on some recent compilation CD
in one of the computer magazines here.  Has anyone seen it?  

  Is anyone else using a Matrox card and have any useful advice to
offer?
