tlug: How are they doing this?

--------------------------------------------------------
tlug note from Jim Schweizer <schweiz@example.com>
--------------------------------------------------------
This is about junk Email.

I received two of these today where there is no address in the
To: field. Check out the header:

----begin header-----------------------------------

XFMstatus: 0002
From: Alternative Products <alternatives@example.com>
To:
Subject: ??? Heart Disease & Artery Blockage ???
------end header---------------------------------
The rest of the message asks if I'm concerned about heart disease
or artery blockage?!

I guess this is better than the one about the Swedish girls....
oh! you wanted that one? Sorry, already deleted;-)

Anyway, how does the mail get to the mailbox without a To:
destination?

And here's the part I really detest: 'Message-Id:
<199708110554.BAA23773@example.com>
-X: at http://www.thehitman.com/ Responsible Bulk emailing is
here!'

Grrrrrrrr.....
