We have several customers using the NEC Aterm series of ISDN TA's.   You
can always use your Linux box as a router :-).

If you require an ISDN DSU/CSU and router in one unit, you can pick up the
Ascend P50 series router for about 120,000 Yen in Akihabara.  They are an
excellent unit but maybe a bit pricy ?.  I don't think Ascend Japan sell
directly to the public, so this is probably why they wont give out
pricing.

If your ISP is using Ascend MAX400X for their POPs then you are likely to
get very good throughput by having Ascend h/w on either end of the link. 
Their compression s/w is good.  Otherwise we have been very impressed with
the Farallon Netopia router as well.
