thanks.  I documented this and added it to my web page along with
a screen capture for input and one for w3 emacs.  Of course, I
gave you credit.  :-)

Any Tlugger interested can glance at the nihongo view of XEmacs
20 surfing Yahoo Japan if they go to the web section of my 
Linux-Nihongo page. 


I notice that there is skk support as well.  I may give this a
try next.  After my success from edict.el which made me switch
from trans.el/trans, I've been interested more in elisp packages
to see if it will improve my performance.

I guess there is also xim if I ever figure it out.  ;-)
