Actually the credit for this is due to the "standard" X distribution. I
was amazed to find when I was in France in '93 on sabbatical that I only
had to get a copy of the Sun kterm binary into my ~/bin and I was
seeing/editing kana & kanji again. The fonts were all there by default.
(No WNN, but I survived.)
