Andy,

I don't know about the Ultra's, but all of the Sparc's I've worked
on (a motly crew of older machines) require parity memory.  It
costs a lot more than standard NP memory - a 16Mb NP-SIMM is about
7000 yen, a 16Mb P-SIMM is usually 9800 yen or over.
