Hi all,

Well, I've decided to *finally* start learning how to use emacs (can 
you believe the entire TLUG home page was done in vi?) and I must say 
the shear size of the man page/help files has been a bit of a 
put-off. 

This is just a small peeve, but I hope someone can point me in the 
right direction. My home directory is filling up with files called 
things like .saves-67-wormhole and test.html~. Is there a way to 
disable this?
