As a followup, I accessed www.microsoft.co.jp and got the patch
from the Japanese site.  I guess it is okay for Japanese systems.
I'm running it with no problems.  Still, it would be better if I got
Cu-SeeMe running on Linux with the Connectix color quick cam.
