Current version of Wheezy does not show _any_ user groups in any GUI setup file. Ideas?
You're saying that you do not know if your current user is part of the
'vboxusers' group. Am I reading this right?

I'm saying that there is no longer any explicit proof that my current user is a member of any group. Group settings are MIA in all recent Debian Wheezy KDE versions.

On the distros that I use everyday, setting this up is:
usermod -a -G vboxusers <your_intended_user_name_2_run_VB_under>

"<your_intended_user_name_ 2_run_VB_under>" = ...

1. The Debian (host) user name?

2. The WIN (guest) user name?

3. The VBox guest machine name?

Without being part of the 'vboxusers' group, you cannot expect your USB
inside VirtualBox to work.

And yet, the USB keyboard and mouse have always worked. It's the USB headset, camera, and USB drives that don't.

Thanks.
