I am learning Go by implementing different types of applications, and I
realized that this would be an easy exercise to try my hand at Goroutines.
For anybody interested, I put my code online here:

https://github.com/TravisCardwell/merge

Note that I have not done any profiling or significant testing (yet). I
am putting the code online now, while this thread is still active. :)

Jim: Please do not feel any pressure to use any of this code; I just did
it as a personal exercise. If, on the other hand, you want to use
something and have any questions or requests, feel free to let me know.

Cheers,

Travis
