No, you're missing the entire point. The vast majority of your questions
aren't relevant.
Question:

On THIS list, would you like to see non-ascii email?

Most others are idle questions.

Going back to my analogy of visiting a house where one is expected to take
off their shoes....
If it's my house, do I care what the next door neighbor does?
No, I really don't.

If you wish to make a poll about would members prefer THIS list, and only
this list, should welcome non-ascii email, and all the other newcomer type
mail, make such a poll. The questions you are asking are not necessarily
bad questions, in the sense of how does one, when they prefer to use
mutt or other text based emails, deal with the outside world. However,
they aren't relevant to the discussion that we've been having here, which
is primarily about how mail should be treated on tlug.

The above is one example. What's the difference? If I do or don't, it
doesn't mean I want to do the same thing on tlug.

The only question that I feel, both as long time member and moderator, is
relevant is do tlug members want to start allowing html mail, pictures, and
the like?
