I see a smartphone with a big touchscreen, MeeGo not really doing things
that android does not.

When I was using the the Nokia N900 with maemo I liked
- using its keyboard
- the device beeing shipped so the user can become root
- the Maemo beeing more similiar to plain linux than android is,
so making porting of programs easier

Biggest problem for me on Maemo (and I suspect this also for MeeGo) was
lack of applications, most important the available software does not
provide the functionality of google maps.
