Sounds a bit tricky - from the employer's point of view, what if you
get here and don't like it? Not to mention the interview logistics,
and the fact that absent very effective online networking, you're
limiting yourself to jobs that have been officially advertised (in
other words, the ones that are really competitive and where you have
to match the job, not the other way around).

Wouldn't do any harm to try though, I suppose.

It would be interesting to hear from people on the list who have made
a success of that approach.
