Just as a note, on RHEL derivatives you can set PEERDNS=no in your
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth? files and your resolv.conf
file won't get overwritten by dhcp. Just googled for an equivalent on
debian derivatives and it seems like you can add some prepend and
supersede entries to your dhclient.conf file so the entries you want
are put back in whenever it gets rewritten.
