This is assuming that when someone sees the bounce five days after they
sent the mail to you, they've kept the original message to which they
replied, they'll go back to it, and they'll examine the headers that are
typically not shown for your secret non-standard header (have you tried
a Google search on it?) to find out where to try again.

If you really insist that your firewall be configured to to cause pain
to people who are not attacking you even though you have technical
options to avoid that without losing your defense against the attackers,
how about just using a less filtered address in the From or Reply-to
header?
