Speaking as the poor bastard who implemented the initial phases of SEO
for Amazon's worldwide keitai sites, I can state with utmost
conviction that SEO is not rocket science, 'tis the blackest of black
arts. :)

Yuck, that is lame. Was this with Amazon proper, or a Marketplace
seller? Which Amazon website, Amazon.de? Did you contact Customer
Service and explain your issue? What did they say?

As an Amazon employee and share holder, I hate to see anyone having a
negative customer experience with us. I'll be happy to work with you
