Should be an interesting product but many people are going to complain about
it when they get it because they didn't read the specs.

The N900 is an internet tablet that happens to be able to make phone calls
and send/receive text messages, it is not a smartphone per se.

It is HSDPA/HSUPA-enabled, but 3G/3.5G is purely for data and is not used
for calls => no high-quality audio as obtained over a 3G connection and no
video calling.

The N900 does not support MMS either and can't be "tethered" (used as a modem).

Real programmers don't write in FORTRAN. FORTRAN is for pipe stress
freaks and crystallography weenies. FORTRAN is for wimp engineers who
wear white socks.
