But Elvish is still used, not Latin (as used by Stephen). In fact I
wonder if Latin
language ever existed... My parents told me to be quiet about Elvish language
when I was young...

The official language in Vatican City is Latin and not just for the sake
of it. They really use it, for example ATMs there are in Latin. It's

Not to mention this: http://www.vatican.va/latin/latin_index.html

Afaik there are even updated dictionaries for latin to take into account new words like computer because it is the official language of the country (and all official papers are written in latin)
