[tlug] [OT] "Gone Viral in a Shameless World"

That train video clip that I mentioned in here previously has been stolen multiple times and re-posted all over the Net more times than seem to be countable!  A cumulative viewing of over two million is interesting to contemplate, but it's a bit shocking how brazenly people not only steal things, but claim them as their own!  It's... shameless!  That sounds like a word from another era, but it fits the bill.  The worst part is that people who see the stolen postings are taking that to be current!  I named it "Actually Full Train in 1991 (Why Flex-Time is a Good Idea)" for a reason.

I don't suppose there's any way of protecting something once people decide they want to steal it?

One tip for anyone posting videos - don't post something that might go viral on Google-Video (at least not first); post it on YouTube - that's what everyone looks at.  I realized that when my Google-Video site (the first posting in the world) hit 200,000 and just one of the copy sites on YouTube was up to 1,000,000!  So - it's a bit late in the game, but I posted it on YouTube as well, here:

And I went back to the same station for a modern veiw (2008) - which is here:
