I was fortunate enough to have him as the Bar Raiser[1] on my first
Amazon interview loop.

Very smart guy, and I enjoyed the interview quite a bit. It was
challenging but fair, and Steve had a lot of interesting things to say
about working at Amazon when it was my turn to put the questions to
him at the end of the interview.

Now let me go and read this piece and see if I still like him... ;)
