Yeah.  I feel kind of lost right now.  GPL v2 is cool, BSD is cool, GPL v3 seems
more driven out of spite than anything else.  I'm just about at the point where
I'm going to recode some toys I did back in the days that have either never
been done by someone else or done worse and don't have a clue at the
moment how I want to deal with copyright.  I just want the bloody things to be
free to hack on and for others to be able to share any cool hacks they may have
to add with the world.  Sigh.  Maybe a 4-way license, GPL v2, BSD, whatever
blanket license KDE uses, whatever blanket license GNOME uses.

I hate the proliferation of different Open Source licenses.  We're all on the
same side, basically though I've felt for a long time the same way with Stallman
that I felt the current President of the United States.  He only pretended to
support things I cared about until it really mattered.

The fragmentation of our side with respect to licensing is not a good thing
and I don't see any easy resolution.
