In my mind Qt4 has always been more ready for "prime time" than Qt3.
The design is so much better and it was Qt4 design that inspired the
KDE people when they designed KDE4 (some would probably say that the
Qt4 design _enabled_ the KDE4 design, which is equally true, I guess).
