I think that Josh's point may be that something as simple as obfuscating
the URLs and post parameters you use will break the generic software,
at which point a human has to go look at your site to figure out how to
tweak the program. If your site is small, and such a tweak is not going
to help with other sites, the spammers may well not bother with you.
