Seconded, but unfortunately they don't have any web crawler. I think
Nutch is more appropriate.

There are some web crawler implimentations, and I had an experience to
use WIRE, a freedom web crawler, and I made a binding for some
languages with SWIG:

BTW, they are implemented by different languages;

Namazu         : Perl, C
Hyper Estraier : C
Lucene/Nutch   : Java
Ferret         : Ruby
