Oh yeah. For example, seven hours into the mix, when the producer says
for the twenty-fourth time, "can you make it more *punchy*?", to an
audio engineer this means, "please hit me in the face with that dbx
compressor, ensuring the rack flange does maximum damage, now." :-)
