Use a Journaling Filesystem . . . . . . (was Re: [tlug] [OT?]A Hard Drive Question)

Ext2 is not a journaling filesystem. 
Ext3, jfs, reiserfs, and xfs are journaling filesystems. 
There are more journaling filesystems.
