Anyone planning to be there ?

Yes. You'll find me at the TIP9UG booth.

When compared with Linux World, the OSC is a small conference in a
very small venue. It has more of a science fair feel to it than a
commercial event. But the camaraderie and conversations between booths
and visitors is fantasitic. If you enjoy good conversation and open
source projects, then I highly recommend it. Here's some photos from
OSC2005, http://www.tip9ug.jp/meetings/OSC2005/photos/index.html.

I've been following the OSC crowd in 2006 and the one I liked best was OSC Okinawa. The booth layout depends on the venue and I find Tokyo to use too many small rooms for real communication between the groups.

In Okinawa I was sitting next to M. Kawai, the one who wrote OS 自作入門. I bought the book in Takamatsu and will have it signed next March ;) His assembler need a little bit of tweaking before running on OSX and I'll do that as soon as I reduce the pile of work on my desktop...
