Looks to me like your phone is in modem mode. Poke around and see if
you can put it into Mass Storage mode.

Slightly off topic but still related to your phone... To confirm this
you can check if the appropriate device has been created:

dmesg | grep acm

Look for something similar to this:

[4294919.967000] cdc_acm 1-1:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device

If this exists you can use ppp to connect to the net using
/dev/ttyACM0 as the modem. You will probably need a username and
password from you phone provider.
