Last night, though, I spent about 2 hours last night trying to install 
USB 2.0 drivers under XP.  Every support site just said "well they 
SHOULD already be there".  If someone can promise me USB 2.0 on Linux, 
I'll switch tomorrow.  Oh, and is there any hope for getting NTFS to 
mount?   The whole reason I bought the 2.0 PCMCIA card and the ext HD in 
the first place was to back up all my data to make the move...
