I should have been more specific. My bad.

There were a few student accounts that were forwarded to cell phones to 
which PC mail would not connect. The students swore up and down that 
phone-to-phone mailing was fine. One of the addresses had two @'s in it. 
I did not try mailing this student with a cell phone, so I am not sure 
if she was just mistaken, but it might have been an internal mailing 
system, like C-Mail for AU, that allows more characters than regular 
email. I have not really investigated this, though, so please excuse the 
unfounded statement.
