Despite the error messages saying the device doesn't exist, the real 
problem could be permissions.

Assuming you have the above entry and it is the correct one for your 
device, try adding a MODE setting, e.g.:

 ... SYSFS{serial}=="PN70UBL5V099", NAME="pilot", MODE="666"

Works for me[tm].
