You probably should have pasted my command right into your terminal to
avoid FFS, [1] once you had determined that my command wasn't going to
pwnz0r j0r b0X0r (sorry). Paste this directly into your terminal, and
copy the output and paste it into an email back to the list, please:

amixer set Mic 100 capture unmute
amixer get Mic
