I know of one company which does provide this kind of service for companies
in Tokyo.  They have representatives in Tokyo, but most of their support,
monitoring, etc. is done remotely from their facilities in St. George Utah.

I was asked if I knew any company in Japan that could
provide Linux support on a contract basis. it's an English
school that has a web site (hosted at some ISP), but they
also have a web-based calendar/reservation system that
runs on RedHat ES (not sure, but I think the hardware 
mentioned was Compaq/HP).

does anyone know of any service of this kind around Tokyo?
