[tlug] Majordomo problems with new sendmail permissions

Hello, I'm using sendmail majordomo on a sarge debian machine.
Sendmail is executed with smmta smmsp user group permissions.
/var/spool/mqueue belong to smmta smmsp
Trying to use majordomo with It I receive several permission error back.

SYSERR(majordomo): hash map "Alias0": unsafe map file /etc/mail/aliases.db:
Permission denied
Jan 19 11:53:29 localhost sendmail[31832]: j0J2rT6H031832:

In an old Redhat machine 9.0 with a previous version of sendmail with
/var/spool/mqueue
set as root:mail I had not such a permission problem.
I can't change majordomo permissions, because majordomo should see the
mailing list files chmoded as 750.
And putting 777 on /var/spool/mqueue (even if for test) don't solve the
problem because,
SYSERR(majordomo): hash map "Alias0": unsafe map file /etc/mail/aliases.db:
Permission denied
doesn't change.

Does anyone had a similar problem and know how to solve?

Regards

Alex
