Yes.  /dev/sda1 and /dev/sdb1 both mount other storage devices.  I tried 
d,e, and f for the heck of it too

ideally, eh?  This is all I show for the plugin of a usb reader that 
succesfully mounts /dev/sda1 (not so helpful)
